Choosing your teeth material

Acrylic or zirconia — compare.

The material of your final teeth is the single biggest factor in cost and long-term maintenance. Both options are discussed at consultation so you can choose what suits your individual situation.

Pricing FAQ

The questions our pricing co-ordinator gets daily.

What factors influence the final cost?

Final cost depends on individual factors including: whether bone grafting is required, choice of sedation (IV vs general anaesthetic), and the material of your final teeth (acrylic at $19,000 per jaw vs zirconia at $25,000 per jaw). A written quote is provided after your clinical assessment.

Is the $73/week figure achievable for everyone?

It is an indicative figure based on acrylic teeth at $19,000 per jaw, on a 60-month interest-free payment plan via an approved lender, after a standard deposit. Lender approval and conditions apply, and your individual repayments depend on the actual treatment cost, material selected, deposit and term.

How do health fund rebates work?

We hold preferred provider arrangements with major Australian funds (HBF, Medibank, Bupa, nib, HCF, Qantas Assure, smile.com.au, CBHS and others). Your rebate depends on your individual cover and item codes claimed; the net cost is calculated at consultation.

Can I use early super release?

Some patients access super early under the ATO's compassionate-grounds rules. Eligibility is determined by the ATO, not by us. The application process commonly takes several weeks.

What should I consider about overseas treatment?

Treatment outside Australia is regulated by the laws of the country where treatment is provided. Practitioner registration, consumer protection, warranty enforcement and aftercare arrangements differ from Australian arrangements. We encourage you to consider these factors when comparing options.

Will I be pressured to commit at the consultation?

No. The written quote is provided for you to consider. There is no obligation to proceed with treatment, and we encourage you to seek a second opinion from another appropriately qualified practitioner before deciding.

What are the risks of treatment?

All surgical and invasive procedures carry risks. For implant surgery, these include infection, bleeding, nerve disturbance, sinus complications (upper jaw), implant failure, prosthetic complications and the need for revision treatment. Specific risks for your situation are discussed in detail at consultation, before consent.
